Order of Christian Initiation

Ages 7-13

For children past the age of reason who haven't yet been baptized, the Church offers a beautiful, unhurried path into the fullness of faith. Over two years, your family will hear the Good News of Jesus, prepare for the waters of Baptism, receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and come at last to the table of the Eucharist — each step walked together, at home and here at the parish. Families beginning this year will see their child initiated — Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, all in one sacred night — at the Easter Vigil in 2028.

High Schoolers

Some teens grow up without Baptism. Others were baptized but never took the next steps into the Church. Either way, there's a path — one built for questions, not just answers. Using Invited: Your Journey into the Catholic Church, our high schoolers gather weekly on Tuesday evenings for teaching and small group discussion, walking together toward the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and/or Eucharist. Parents aren't required to attend, though godparents and sponsors are warmly encouraged to walk this journey alongside their teen.

Maybe you've never been baptized. Maybe you were raised Catholic but never confirmed. Maybe you're not sure what you believe, but something keeps drawing you to the Catholic Church. Wherever you're starting from, OCIA meets you there. Using Invited: Your Journey into the Catholic Church, our OCIA group gathers on Tuesday evenings, September through May, for teaching and honest conversation about the Catholic faith — leading, for those ready, to Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. Every journey starts as an inquirer, simply coming to see and ask questions — no commitment required.
