The Matt
Talbot Center (MTC) is a special ministry to the homeless, the broken and
the needy. Resources are provided to enable men and women to get off the
streets, off drugs and alcohol and be restored to their families. MTC
provides a clinical treatment program, support, ministry, housing
referral and other services. There is no cost to participants. MTC is a
ministry of Catholic Community Services. MTC operates totally with
voluntary private funding, both individual and foundation, and donor
directed contributions to United Way and Catholic Community Services.
Saint Cecilia Parish has been a strong supporter of MTC since its
inception in 1985. Parish support has included volunteer services at the
center, periodic preparation and serving of meals, participation on the
Board of Trustees and individual contributions of clothing and finances.
