The name of our Knights of Columbus Council is Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy Council 12251, located at St. Cecilia's Church on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The current Grand Knight is Dick Hassell. You can contact the Knights by phone at 206-842-3594, or by email at courtneylaw@comcast.net. We meet the first Saturday of each month in Conger Hall after the 9am Mass and Rosary.
Archbishop
Thomas J. Murphy Council was founded in 1997 through the efforts
of parishoners Dick O'Brien, Anthony Farrell and others. It is named
after Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy, who was
archbishop of the Seattle archdiocese from 1991 to 1997. The Thomas J.
Murphy Council works closely with St. Cecilia's
Parish on Bainbridge Island, raising funds for student scholarships,
youth activities and other charitable causes. Working with our
pastor, Fr. Emmett Carroll, the Knights support the mission of St. Cecilia's
Parish as well as upholding the tradition of the Knights of
Columbus to support seminarians, donate to charities and strengthen the
culture of life.
