MONTHLY MEETING

 

December 5, 2009

 

 

 

ATTENDANCE:

 

Meeting called to order at 10: 00 a.m. by Grand Knight, Richard Hassell, also present were: Leo Schilling, Paul Vitello, Patrick Rooney, Daniel Luzzo, Dennis Crossland, Grant Courtney, Robert Earhart, and Mike Cini. 

 

MINUTES:

 

Minutes of October 3, 2009 were read by Daniel Luzzo and approved.

 

ADMISSIONS:

 

Paul Vitello, set up a Knights of Columbus recruitment table at the September dinner. And now has a list of possible new Knights he will contact.

 

GRAND KNIGHT:

 

Grand Knight / Richard Hassell, commended Farther Emmett Carroll for the outstanding job he is doing at St. Cecllia’s (all agreed).

 

 TRUSTEE:

 

Grant Courtney reported that there is balance of $ 1,500 with some minor bills still to be paid.

 

Dues for 2010 are being sent out. The cost is $ 45.00 and a volunteer donation of $3.65 for pennies from heaven a total of $48.65 should be paid in January.

 

 

CHAPLAIN: Non attendance

 

TREASURER: Non attendance

 

COMMUNICATION:

 

FINANCIAL:

 

Brother Courtney, a bill from Supreme Council for $35.00 is of unknown origins and will be put on hold till next month.

 

There is an outstanding charge of $15.00 from Phoenix for second and third degree upgrades for Gene, and Dennis.

 

SERVICE COMMITTEE: Daniel Luzzo

 

RECRUITMENT: Brother Vitello is contacting prospective new members and will create a letter to be inserted in the flyer about the benefits of the Brotherhood of The Knights of Columbus.

 

UNFINISHED BUINESS: Prime dinner est. 80 in attendants and $500. Profit.

 

Knights will (help) on Italian dinner.

 

Jan 9th will be Chicken Parmesan dinner.

 

Food bank needs help from Knights / St. Vinceson society.

 

Paul Vitello will go for 2nd and 3rd degree in Jan.  

 

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Food bank needs Knight Help / Vote taken to work with St. vincen, s Society and approved.
