Compline is sung by the Bainbridge Men's Compline Choir at St. Cecilia's
at 8:00 PM on the first Sunday of the month from October through May.
Attendance averages between 60 and 75 people each month, including many
non-Catholics. The choir is made up of 14 men from local Presbyterian,
Episcopal, Congregational, and Lutheran churches, as well as from St.
Cecilia's and St. Olaf's.
Begun
in 1992 under Bill Pelandini, director, it has become a popular
ecumenical devotional service. Music is all a cappella and
consists largely of chant and motets for men's voices.
